Built by Michigan Policy Platform

The goal of the Built By Michigan campaign is to raise awareness about and gain support for the benefits of electric vehicle incentives and policies that will help to drive Michigan’s economy forward.  Coalition partners of the campaign will be working for:

• A federal incentive that would allow electric vehicle buyers to receive a direct rebate instead of a tax credit;
• Financial incentives for the installation of public and workplace charging stations for electric vehicles;
• State and other fleet vehicle purchasers to lease or buy electric vehicles;
• Clean fuel standards that require an increasing percentage of electricity and other alternative fuels for powering vehicles within Michigan.

Your business’ or organization’s endorsement of the campaign will help us send a clear message to the Michigan Legislature and Congress that it is time to ensure this technology is built by Michigan.
